WEST MICHIGAN — FOX 17 Meteorologist Haleigh Vaughn has the following forecast for the area: Clouds and cooler temperatures are forecast for your Friday, which begins with a cloudy sky. It will be in the lower to middle 70s today, according to the weather service. This afternoon and evening, there is a chance of a brief shower, but most of us will be dry. It's possible that there will be a few thunderclaps, but severe weather is not predicted. Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions are expected for the first half of your Saturday. After midnight on Saturday, a few showers are likely, and they'll last into the early hours of Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, a mix of sun and clouds will return to the sky. This weekend's highs are expected to be in the mid- to low-seventies, but next week's heat is expected to return. A few days next week with highs in the 80s to near 90 degrees are likely.
